People spend an amount of money every day for their daily needs and
several other purposes. It is quite necessary for them to monitor these
expenses because they are to spend money within a limited budget. In
this purpose, they use manual systems like taking notes in papers or
saving texts in their phones or computers. They are to do the calculations
manually using pen and papers or calculators. But it is time consuming
and very troublesome. In this project, we are proposing a fully
automated system named “Daily Cost Calculator” to cope up with this
problem. Nowadays, smartphones are a part and parcel of our life. “Daily
Cost Calculator” is an application that runs on Android smartphones.
Using this application, users can track their daily expenses very easily and
conveniently. Users can save their expenses by simply scanning the bills
with this application. The application will save the bills and present them
to the users in an organized and relevant way so that they can
understand it easily. It will also monitor user’s income by tracking the
received SMS’s from their Bank accounts. By calculating income and
expenses it will produce the user’s balance in a monthly basis. Overall,
it’s a very useful application for all kinds of user for monitoring their
monthly income and expenses.
